I had a great experience at Starbucks. The coffee was flavorful, well-prepared, and offered a good variety of choices for different tastes. I had a disappointing experience at this Starbucks. I’m still new to Starbucks and learning how to order, so I wasn’t exactly sure what to ask for. Unfortunately, the employee at the drive-thru window, Amelia, was rude and didn’t seem willing to help. I felt like I was being judged instead of assisted, which made the experience uncomfortable. I understand everyone has busy days, but a little patience and kindness would have gone a long way. I hope future customers, especially those who are new, are treated with more understanding and respect.

I’m very disappointed with this experience. One of my Starbucks coffees arrived almost empty because it had spilled during delivery. I understand accidents can happen, but I was never informed about what happened. Better communication and honesty would have been appreciated. I contacted DoorDash to report the issue, but they told me they couldn’t do anything to resolve it. I also reached out to Starbucks and received the same response. Unfortunately, this experience has cost Starbucks a loyal customer. I expected much better customer service and accountability.

I wish I can show you the drinks I was given. I unfortunately went to this Starbucks because it is open 24 hours. One time I ordered a Doppio (two shots of Espresso) with heavy cream and they gave me a cup filled only halfway, with the majority of it being ice. What a waste of money. I asked if they could fill it to the top with milk and the lady said that I should have ordered a Latte then, and if I wanted more milk, I would have to pay more (I order the same drink at every Starbucks I go to by the way). Today, before I went to work, I ordered it the way the lady recommended, a latte with two shots of espresso and heavy cream. Guess what they did this time? Milk and syrup, no espresso, at all. I had no time to go back and ask them to remake it because I had to clock in for work, so I left it in my car and went back to this Starbucks after work. I brought the grande-size drink they made, all full. The lady in the drive through laughed when she saw it and then said I should have called beforehand. She asked what it was and then asked if I wanted an ad shot. I said I don't want any extra shots, I just want two shots of espresso, because there is NONE in this drink. So I get to the Wi

As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and Maui Desire Romance Series novels, I spend a lot of time in coffee shops while working, and this National City Starbucks is a solid, high-traffic location. This spot sits right along Plaza Blvd near the 805, so it stays busy. Every seat was taken when I stopped in, and the drive-through line was steady the whole time. Even with that, the crew keeps things moving. The staff was courteous and efficient, and the store itself was clean and well organized. I was able to grab a table for a bit and reset while working on my next novel. It has that familiar Starbucks rhythm that makes it easy to sit down and focus when a spot opens up. Parking is decent, though not always right up front. If you’re willing to walk a few steps, it’s not an issue. It’s a reliable stop when you need a quick break and a place to get a little work done.
